Connecting with nature

We are Nature

Feeling disconnected from yourself — or the world around you?

Do you ever feel overwhelmed, tired, or restless — like your head is full, but your heart is empty?

You’re not alone. Many people feel disconnected from themselves and from what really matters. Life moves fast. There’s always something to do, somewhere to be, someone to care for. We forget to breathe. We forget to feel.

And we forget that nature is right there. Waiting for us. Ready to help us slow down, reconnect, and remember who we are.

The power of reconnection

You feel it sometimes, don’t you? That quiet longing... for more peace, more space, more meaning. A break from the constant noise. A deeper breath. A slower rhythm.

You miss the feeling of being connected — to yourself, to something real, something bigger. You’re not alone. So many people feel this way, even if they can’t quite put it into words.

Maybe you’re craving simplicity. Silence. The kind of stillness where you can finally hear your own thoughts again. Or not even think — just feel. Just be. Somewhere inside, you know there’s more to life than hurrying and surviving.

You know there’s something healing about standing under a tree, listening to the wind, or watching the clouds drift by.

You just haven’t had the space — or maybe the guidance — to go there. This workshop is created for that longing. For the part of you that’s tired of pushing through and ready to come home.

Why it’s important to connect with Nature

Somewhere deep inside, we all know it: we are nature.

But in the rush of daily life, we often forget. We live between walls, behind screens, surrounded by noise and deadlines. We spend more time online than outside. And slowly, without noticing, we begin to feel cut off — from the world, and from ourselves.

Yet the moment we step outside and let the wind touch our skin or hear the sound of birdsong, something shifts. We remember. Not with our heads, but with our bodies. Our breath softens. Our shoulders drop. We begin to settle.

Nature doesn’t ask anything from us. It simply is — calm, patient, present. And in its presence, we start to feel that way too.
There’s no pressure, no judgment, no need to perform. Just space. Space to breathe, to feel, to be.

This connection to the natural world isn’t just beautiful — it’s essential.
It gives us perspective when we feel overwhelmed. It offers comfort in times of stress or sadness. It gently brings us back to balance when we’ve lost our way.

In nature, we don’t have to try to relax.

We just do. Because our nervous system recognises safety.
Because our heart remembers what it means to belong.

Reconnecting with nature is not about escaping life.
It’s about coming home — to the part of you that has always been whole.

Who am I?

My name is Miranda Jansen. I’m a Reiki teacher for both people and animals, living in Aruba.

I guide others in learning how to be more present, more connected, and more in balance — using meditation, Reiki, and the natural world around us.

What makes me different? I don’t use big spiritual words or complicated tools. I believe the most powerful healing happens when we get quiet and listen — especially when we’re surrounded by nature.

A few years ago, my health forced me to slow down.

It wasn’t easy. But in that quiet, something beautiful happened: I reconnected with nature. Not in a big dramatic way. Just small moments. Sitting under a tree. Watching clouds. Listening to the ocean.

These little things helped me feel grounded again. They brought me peace — and energy.

Nature became my medicine, my teacher, my mirror. It helped me find my way back to myself.

That’s why I created this workshop. To share this experience with others. You don’t need to be “out of balance” to join — but if you are, nature can guide you gently back.

What you’ll walk away with

After this workshop, you’ll feel:

🌿 Lighter in your body and mind.

🌿 More grounded and calm.

🌿 Reconnected with yourself and the world around you.

🌿 You know why it is important to connect with nature.

🌿 Inspired to make small changes that bring more peace into your daily life

🌿 Equipped with simple tools you can keep using, anytime you need a reset

And maybe most important — you’ll remember that you are not separate from nature. You are nature

This is a quiet and reflective workshop. You won’t be “talked at” — we’ll move slowly, with silence and space to feel and explore. Everyone is welcome. No experience needed.

Now is the time to take a moment for yourself

It’s easy to keep pushing things forward — to say “maybe later” or “when things calm down.” But the truth is… life doesn’t always calm down on its own. Sometimes you have to pause first — and let calm come to you.

This kind of stillness, this kind of attention for yourself, is rare. And right now, in a world that moves faster than ever, making space for rest and reconnection isn’t a luxury — it’s a choice for your well-being.

So if you feel the pull, don’t wait too long. Your nervous system will thank you. Your heart will thank you. And the nature that’s been waiting for you… will welcome you back with open arms.

Because I like to keep the group small and personal, only a few spots are available.
This gives everyone the space to truly slow down, breathe, and reconnect — without pressure or distraction.

If something in you feels curious, or even just quietly drawn to this, trust that feeling.
